Local Artist Cindy Birdsong - 

Cindy Birdsong is an artist/art educator from Nashville, Tennessee.  She received her education in Studio Art from Vanderbilt University (formerly Peabody College) and her Master’s degree in Art Education from Belmont University.  In addition to her work as a consultant with Crayola and Pearson Education, she holds a Professional license in K-12 Visual Arts and has been an adjunct professor in Art History. Her mixed-media and traditional artworks are in both public and private collections.  Most recently, Cindy has been working as an art therapist in the mental health and addiction community and strongly believes that Art is a vital tool in the healing of body, soul, and mind.  “Art allows us to express our innermost feelings and emotions when we cannot express them in words.”
