Local artist Elaine Husband has painted professionally for 35 years. 

Essays about her home have been published in Williamson Homes and 
Lifestyles magazine and her work has been featured in several local 
publications.   A yearly exhibition of her paintings draws clients 
from all over the southeast.  She has taught art in several private 
schools and offered lessons to adults as well.  

Elaine is the co-author of Gathering in the Garden, a book filled with
original paintings, garden entertaining ideas, and accompanying 
recipes. A lifelong Franklin resident, Elaine, and her husband now live 
in Fairview on her daughter's farm.
