Hot Honey:

Life tastes sweeter with a little bit of sting! We’ve infused our sweet Wildflower Honey with searing scotch bonnet and habanero peppers for a complex condiment that uplevels your favorite savory dishes, baked goods, and cocktails. 2022 FLAVOR OF GEORGIA WINNER!

With a heat rating of 100,000-350,000 Scoville units, the scotch bonnet can be up to 40 times hotter than a typical jalapeño!

Honey Hot Sauce:

Jamaican-Me Hot! Our delicious Wildflower Honey combined with the fiery, fragrant Jamaican scotch bonnet peppers is a match made in heaven.

Our Honey Hot Sauce is made only for the brave. It’s tasty and hot. Our special recipe combines the two ingredients to create a sweet and spicy combination that is as addictive as it is delicious. Wildflower honey has a sweet flavor, which is what you will taste first. However, the taste will quickly explode into a perfume spice that makes everything taste so much better.

Not only was it love at first taste for us, we’re bee-yond excited to receive the 2020 SOFI AWARD for the best and most innovative product in the BBQ and hot sauce category from the Specialty Food Association.

Try it on everything and see for yourself. With one taste, you will be screaming Hone-OHHHHHHHH My Gosh, this is so good. You’ll be going back for more.

Hot Honey Fire Sticks:

A honey straw that brings the heat! SBC Fire Sticks are a smoother (only 70% heat) version than our regular Hot Honey to spark your taste buds. Fire up picnics and takeout with this sizzling grab-and-go condiment, boost your body before a workout, or savor anytime for a flaming sweet, healthy treat.

Scotch bonnet and habanero peppers are among the spiciest on earth—but that doesn’t keep the bees from pollinating their flowers!

Founder’s Notes - Ted Dennard

“For as long as I can remember I’ve had a connection to bees. From being introduced to beekeeping at 11 years old, to working for no money with an old beekeeper in high school, I grew up learning how important these little creatures are. After time in the Peace Corps, working with hundreds of beekeepers and teaching beekeeping in schools, I returned to Georgia, right where I started my honey journey. It was here I found myself searching for new ways to share the magic of bees and honey.

My original mission with Savannah Bee Company was to sell the best honeybee products while educating people about the fascinating world of bees. I didn’t know anyone who did that sort of thing—combining education and business. I was trying to come up with the best way to introduce customers to bees and quality honey properly. I figured that if people only knew the process, they would learn to love the bees and their products as much as I do.

There was also a conscious effort to elevate the honey world - bringing honey out of the plastic bears and into beautiful bottles, and into a place where honey and bees were truly appreciated. That was in 1999, and since then we’ve worked hard to make the dream of Savannah Bee Company into reality.

For 20 years we’ve sourced the purest honey from the finest beekeepers around the world - folks that I know by name and trust to provide the highest quality. From our conscientious packaging to our experiential retail stores, and our non-profit The Bee Cause Project, everything we do is to celebrate the incredible work of bees and the natural beauty they create. Our goal is to keep growing and learning and sharing, giving our voice to the bees with every bottle of honey.”
