Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series is a five-book saga that reimagines the classic story, following the near-immortal Victor Frankenstein and his creation, Deucalion, as they confront a new race of super-beings. The series, originally planned as two trilogies, concludes with five novels: Prodigal Son, City of Night, Dead and Alive, Lost Souls, and The Dead Town. While the first three books were initially co-authored, Koontz later took sole credit, and all editions are now published under his name alone.
