About the Author: Rebekah A. Sitze lives in Tennessee, where she takes care of her two bloodhounds, Lady and Rosie, and cat, Spivey.  She is devoted to animals and gardening.  She is the founder of the Release the Hounds nonprofit.

About the Illustrator:  Mary J. Beadles lives in Georgia and helps take car of the cats in her community.  She is a professional pet portrait artist.  She is self-taught and recently turned to pastels.  All illustrations in these books are done using pastels.
